“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 NIV
God is a constant, ongoing pulse that is always with us. If we listen, we can hear God. But often there are so many everyday things to distract us that we fail to stop and carefully listen for God's steady beat in our lives. We must spend time reading His word, be with other believers, and create unhurried times to listen to Him.
Just as we train ourselves to discern the steady, dependable voice of God, we can train our ears to listen for the constant, ongoing pulse of a steady beat in music. Using manipulatives with preschools, younger and older children to keep the steady beat is a fun and engaging way to reinforce this critical musical skills and concept.
Each time we make group music strive to reinforce steady beat in your homes, church day school, homeschool, church Sunday School, school choir or kid’s choir.
